MJ will be greatly missed

On June 25Th, 2009, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson passed away. Jackson lived 50 years, he would have been 51 in August. The cause of death is currently unknown. He left behind 8 brothers and sisters and, most importantly, an inspiring music career. Jackson began his singing career at the age of 11, when he joined the Jackson 5 (pictured on the left). He went solo years later and his singles include "Thriller" and "Billie Jean".

Jackson's life began to spiral downward years ago. Allegations were rough up against Jackson for child molestation; Jackson even lost his multi-million estate, Neverland Ranch. He suddenly was on a comeback, as he scheduled a new tour. The singer suddenly died yesterday.

Although Jackson had lost his "Rock Star" status over the years, he will still be an inspiration for all ages.

Jackson achieved a music status like The Beatles or Bob Marley. His songs are listened to by every generation. Even toddlers know who MJ is. He is a common household name and his songs will be known forever.

Michael Jackson has insprired so many people, including me. I never span in a circle, and grabbed my crotch but Jackson inspired thousands of us to have the confidence to do that and look cool too. His signature style was bold and creative. No other singers can claim to be a world sensation like Jackson was.

Jackson gave people a party in each song. The lyrics were catchy, the music was full of beats and there were even dance moves that could be used with them. "Thriller" is a prime example of this.

While MJ's status might have gone down in the 2000's, he will never be forgotten.

SWINE FLU!!!

I've been really sick recently and I need to update my blog with my opinions about stuff happening in the real world, not mine :D

Speaking of sickness, there is an ongoing debate on a way to reform our Health Care System in the United States.

In America, we currently have health insurance through private companies, such as Blue Cross and Cigna. Other nations, like Canada, have developed nationwide insurance policies so no one can be turned away due to payment complications.

Now that the United States is going through a recession, items like a National Health Plan, while important, are simply out of reach. Americans are in trillions of dollars of debt and we have survived decades without any plan to help Americans with paying for health care. Where will this money come from? The Government doesn't simply grow the money on trees.

If a Government Health Plan is made, it needs to use competition to survive. This competition will hurt the privately owned insurance companies. Essensially, everyone is going to want the best deal for the cheapest price.

My personal plan involves a new program that allows all people to use one Government run system which they choose which ever insurance company they choose fitting for their needs.
The rates would change for everyone depending on where their income falls. So now it wouldn't be through the employers but through the government so everyone can use the system.

Using this government backed program, it would increase competition. This lowers the price of health cost for everyone, not just to those who are employed. Also the health insurance would become like a tax insted of a monthly payment and doctors would be easier to get.

There are many pros and cons to which ever plan the Government chooses. Obama will surely pick the plan that is the best for the country.

Sucks to be a Communist

This blog is about the current situation in China.

In China, the government has now decided to begin watching what it's people are doing from their computer.

This is primarily on the Internet. Groups have been made to filter through any online actions on the Internet in China

Not only is the Internet being screened but the gov. is also requiring that any computer sold in China has a strict filter on what can be seen on the computer, these blocks are focused on "pornography and vulgar" sites.

This new software is causing a huge debate in America

The question stands, Should we cooperate with the Chinese and install this software on computers shipped to the China or simply say "No"

If I was in charge, I would be forced to say yes.

First, America is still in a recession so it is valuable that we do all the trading we can do.
While it might be slightly evil, we cannot pick or choose the work we get. Losing the Chinese would be a huge loss to our trade revenue for American Computer companies, such as Dell or HP.
Second, the Chinese is a Communist nation, so it can do whatever it wants to do. Plain and Simple. Why did we get so involved with China is another thing...

Now there are many problems with this software China is demanding we install on our exports to them.

The Software is said not to be stable and very easy for to hack

Also a company in Santa Barbra is claiming the company who designed the software, stole their codes and are now mass producing the software on all Chinese computers.

The debate will continue on and until the world is at peace, Americans will continue fighting for freedom or better hamburgers
